CALLING ALL STORYBOARD AND GRAPHIC NOVEL ARITISTS
In conjunction with The NOVA Fest, Red Zeppelin Productions and Best Served Cold Productions are looking for graphic artists to be considered for potential work on the World War II feature film, FIRE IN THE JUNGLE.
Synopsis: After the retreat of U.S. forces in the Southern Philippines during WWII, a Native American soldier caught behind enemy lines is faced with the impossible task of uniting warring factions bereft of basic resources and modern firearms in a guerrilla war against the invading Japanese Empire
Enter for your chance to qualify for this tremendous opportunity to work with award-winning writers, producers, and directors.
How it works:
Each candidate will receive a four page section of the feature film screenplay.
The artist will put together a graphic novel style interpretation of that scene.
The completed work will be submitted by March 26, 2018 to the Producers for evaluation.
Finalists’ work will be displayed at certain events during the NOVA International Film Festival from April 1-14, 2018.
Winners will be announced at the 4th Annual NOVA Film Festival Awards Ceremony on April 14, 2018
Note: Neither winning nor entering the event will guarantee work on the film, nor is there any guarantee that the film will be produced. All submission will be considered “Work of Hire” and will be owned by the Production Company. Further details will be provided on the application.
